TICKETS

Tickets for 2nd Star shows are $25.00 for General Admission, $22.00 for seniors (60 and over), active military, and full time students, and $15 for children under 12.
 
Note that starting with our 2019-20 season, online tickets, those ordered over the phone, and those purchased at the box office are the same price. There is no extra online processing fee.

Discount available for prepaid groups (see note below) and Season Ticket holders.
Performances for our productions are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 3 pm, 
with a 3 pm matinee on our closing Saturdays.

There are four ways to secure your tickets for our performances:
 
1. Order tickets online at the link above. This is a very convenient way to purchase, and starting in the 2019-20 season this is the same price as a phone reservation or an in-person purchase.
Note that online sales for a performance cut off 30 minutes prior to the box office opening (1.5 hours prior to curtain) to allow reconciliation of the ticket list by box office staff.
 
2. Call our ticket line, leave a message stating performance date and quantity, and our box office staff will return your call and process your credit card over the phone. We are a small group with limited volunteers, so phone messages left after noon Fridays will not be returned unless they are reservation for a future weekend. If you want to purchase tickets for the weekend after noon on Fridays, please do so online or at the box office.
 
3. Take your chances and buy your tickets at the door IF THERE ARE STILL TICKETS AVAILABLE.  This is not recommended for our popular musicals!

Starting with our 2019-20 season, all tickets reservations will be paid for in advance so audience members who call in for reservations will have their credit card processed over the phone. Prepaid tickets will be held until curtain time (8 pm for evenings shows, 3 pm for matinees), after which they will be made available to the wait list in the case of a sold out show. 
 
Groups of 10-19 will receive a discount of $2 per ticket, groups of 20+ receive a discount of $4 per ticket. Group ticket reservations must be paid for in advance rather than at the door.
 
TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.  Up until 48 hours before show time, pre-paid reservations can be changed to another performance date if seats are still available.
 
There are 150 seats at the Bowie Playhouse.  When this number of tickets is sold, we will immediately post a "SOLD OUT" message on the reservation line (1). 
 
WAIT LISTS for "no-shows" and cancellations will be started AT THE THEATER - ONE HOUR prior to curtain.  We do not have a wait list via telephone.  We will do our best to seat as many as we can.
 
Please note:  Messages are NOT picked up, and phone calls are NOT returned on Friday afternoon and evening, and from Saturday afternoon through Monday.
